Georgia native, Chef Q was born and raised in Decatur, Georgia. Being the second eldest of eight siblings called for Chef Q to inherently assume the role as caretaker. As a child, frequent visits to the DeKalb County International Farmers Market sparked his interest in international cuisine.
Chef Q has studied abroad in Germany, Switzerland, and France which has naturally increased his culinary artistic ability in international cuisine. While obtaining his Culinary Arts Degree from The Art Institute of Atlanta, Chef Q interned at the luxurious Waldstatter Hof Hotel in beautiful downtown Luzern, Switzerland. Working closely with Executive Chefs has led to genuine cultural understanding, which can be tasted in every dish. Chef Q’s knowledge of cultural cuisines and diversified cooking styles can also be attributed to his interpersonal cultural submersion .
Chef Q has been a professional chef for over eighteen years. His experience and knowledge comes from holding multiple positions in various accredited establishments ranging from notable restaurants, universities, hospitals, and hotels.
Chef Q has a relentless love for travel and culinary education. He prides himself on serving quality food from the freshest ingredients with an international flair.
